Andrea Corr
Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born Andrea Jane Corr) is a singer-songwriter-musician and actress from Ireland. Corr started her career in 1990 with the Celtic pop and rock band The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr is an Irish performer, songwriter and actress. She was awarded her Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award in 2005 and is well known as part of The Corrs, a Celtic pop and rock band The Corrs. Andrea is the singer-lead of the band and also is a musician on several instruments. Beginning her acting career in 1991 Andrea then became an accomplished musician and stage artist. She was a playback singer in 1998's Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is a truly multifaceted artist. She has a total of six studio albums, two compilation albums and two live albums as well as one mix. Additionally, Andrea has been awarded to support her charitable work. Andrea has two children with her stockbroker partner. Andrea's first music lesson was to master the Tin Horn. Gerry was her instructor when she first began learning to play piano. Andrea can play the Ukulele. Andrea honed her skills in music in her teens. She began by practicing alongside her family members before becoming an eminent singer of the band. Andrea participated in many plays in the Dun Lughaidh Convent.
